I had an unfortunate experience with Care Health Insurance, and I feel it’s important to share my thoughts for others considering this provider. While every company has its strengths and weaknesses, my experience with their health insurance services left me frustrated and disappointed.
- Claim Process - Slow and Complicated:-
One of the biggest issues I faced was with the claim process. It was unnecessarily long and confusing. Despite providing all the required documents and following up multiple times, the process dragged on for weeks. Every time I called their customer service, I was either put on hold for long periods or given vague updates.
- Lack of Transparency:-
Another major problem was the lack of transparency in their policy details. When I purchased the policy, I was told that certain treatments were covered, but when I actually needed them, I found out they were excluded. The fine print is filled with exclusions and hidden clauses that aren’t clearly communicated at the time of purchase.
- Poor Customer Support:-
I also had a hard time dealing with their customer support team. They were often unresponsive, and when they did respond, they seemed uninterested in resolving my issues. I felt like I had to chase them constantly for answers, and even then, the replies were vague and unhelpful. It felt like they were more focused on avoiding payouts than helping their customers.
- Pre-Authorization Issues:-
The pre-authorization for cashless treatment was another headache. Despite having a cashless policy, I faced multiple delays when trying to get approval for a simple procedure. This caused a lot of stress during an already difficult time, as I had to make advance payments and wait for reimbursement, which took far longer than expected.
Conclusion:-
Overall, my experience with Care Health Insurance was far from satisfactory. The slow claims process, lack of transparency, and poor customer service left me feeling let down. I hope they can work on improving these areas, but for now, I would recommend looking at other options if you’re considering health insurance.
