I am going to explain a scam which is happening between Flipkart and AC sellers.
I purchased a Carrier AC 1.5 ton and it got delivered on the 2nd of April.
During the delivery, I have observed there is no copper pipe. I asked the delivery person to open the box and I found it out there is no copper pipes and bolts in the box. Then the delivery boys mentioned sir, the installation person will bring the copper pipe.
They are so confident that these things are pretty much happening. So I accepted the package. I feel like these delivery boys are not from the Flipkart. These delivery boys are from the AC seller.
4th Apr morning someone called to install the AC. Then I mentioned there is no copper pipe in the box. Install person mentioned that I have to buy the copper pipe from us and get it reimbursed from Flipkart. Then I mentioned, I need an original copper pipe.
They mentioned that won’t be available now you have to purchase and you can reimburse from the Flipkart. All these things they know you know how to do the scam. Then I immediately called Flipkart. Flipkart also mentioned, take the GST bill, I can reimburse from Flipkart. Then I allowed him to install the AC.
The same day evening two people came home and started installing the AC. They are very unprofessional. They are literally kind of kids less than 20 years. They are installing very badly. They Scratching the aluminium condenser coil. They are trying to put both the copper pipes in single sponge insulation. Then I denied ad one coper pipe is for heating and another one is for cooling. After some one of the person went out and they got the separate insulation. They didn’t cover the wall hole with white cement. They cut one of the earth wire which is connecting from outside unit and indoor unit. I am attaching the image.
Then on 6th that which is Sunday 6th April someone called me and they said like sir we are coming for an installation. Then I mentioned AC is already installed. Then he mentioned sir your number got hacked and some other persons installed. Then I mentioned how they know my number. They mentioned number got hacked and since some one installed there is not warranty for my AC. They know all these scams. But still Flipkart is not taking any action on the seller.
Now spent 7000/-+ for installation.
1100 per meter which is 3 meters. bolts 500(ideally these should come inside the box).
1000 for stand 350/- for white tape, 350 for drain pipe, installation 1700.
I have provided all this information to the Flipkart. But there is no action taken.

On 3 days after install.
I found gas is leaking near the ourdoor unit. With in 3 days AC gas reduced. Very pathetic install.
