My Honest Experience with Car24 – Please Be Careful Before Buying(Request #2286125:)
I bought a used Hyundai Verna from Car24 on 7th September, with a 1-month service warranty included. Within just a few days of purchase, I noticed issues with the axle and clutch, so I tried to raise a ticket through the Car24 app.
However, the app simply does not work for raising service tickets — it keeps saying you can submit one, but it never actually processes. Trust me, you won’t be able to raise a ticket through the app.
I then contacted the sales representative, who raised a ticket on my behalf. Unfortunately, I received no proper response, and the ticket was closed without resolution.
Later, I raised another ticket for a sound coming from the left-side wheel while turning left on slope. A Car24 support engineer came, inspected the car, and confirmed the issue. He asked me to take the car to the showroom and escalated the report — but the claim was rejected, saying that the left-side axle is not covered under warranty, while strangely the right-side axle is.
I honestly don’t understand how such a policy makes sense — if one side of the axle is covered, the other should be too!
I also reported the clutch issue, which appeared within 500 km and just 3 weeks after purchase, but again, no response from Car24.
I trusted this brand because they advertise a 135-point quality check, but now I seriously doubt what that check actually includes — apparently, the steering, axle, and clutch aren’t part of it.
In my experience, Car24 makes big promises but does not stand by their service or warranty commitments. Please make sure you get a trusted mechanic to thoroughly inspect any car before buying from them — otherwise, you might end up feeling cheated like I do.
