Rs 10k was put on hold saying after RC transfer gets done will credit the money; main USP of Cars 24 was to save hassle from going to RTO; yesterday received message in US asking to be present for Party Peshi in person for RC transfer; if not, then Rs 10k gets forfeited. This was never discussed at the point of Sale - or would have sold my car elsewhere. I’d be better off selling to through a local car agent or olx. Hidden charges are never discussed. Wiser people will keep safe distance from them.
