I had a very bad experience using the Carwale site. I used their site to sell my car and unfortunately the experience has been horrendous.
To sell my car, I had to register and pay a fee of Rs. 500/-. The website said that this fee will be refunded if the car is not sold within 3 months / 90 days. When I wrote to them asking for the refund after not having sold my car during the said period, they came up with excuses / reasons beyond comprehension to not repay the money.
To me its not about the money but the integrity of the site. They said they will repost the ad for another month. Why can’t they just refund the money?
I will never suggest carwale.com for any transaction. Like they rightly said, never trust a book by the cover. Its looks like we can’t trust the site for the content even :(
