Modern lecoq and holmes

There was a time and sometimes now too that I felt that there is something empty in my world.Just had finished all the sherlock HOLMES and POIROTS. I knew no other name of detectives and I was completely blank about what next.

I used to buy old second hand book from my favorite book stall in a nondescrpit galli besides the bus stand. One day I was just gazing through the book stall, then suddenly the stall owner inquired what I want. I told him my dilemma and he suggested the erle stanley gardner book(case of ticking clock).that was how I got started with PERRY MASON.

In the terrified typist(my third book of this series), there is an interesting case of a typist(Not DELLA STREET), here we see the same sound logical reasoning from Mason which sometimes reminds me of Holmes.Paul Drake(detective) is synonymous with Lestrade( dumb Scotland yard detective from sherlokian era), though he is not that dumb.

Well this case in terms of quality doesn’t provide anything spectacularly new but then it’s ok for anyone who has the penchant for detective novels.
