Don't opt for Cashify -Completly fraud technician

On 9th September 2022, on Cashify app I evaluated my Real Me GT 5G. The phone was purchased in September 2021 through Flipkart. I purchased new Samsung Galaxy S22Ultra through Amazon in July 2022 and decided to sale Real Me Gt5G through Cashify. On 18th September 2022 Sunday, Cashify technician came and checked my Realme Gt5G. He took almost 2 hours to check the same. He took my phone , erased all the data, in the meantime, he called his person and made me talk to him saying it was Cashify. Person from the other side informed me that value of the phone is Rs.15000/- and since app was slow, balance amount of Rs.1810/- will be be transferred later. The price as per Cashify App valuation dated 9th September 2022 was Rs. 16810/- Without my knowledge and without discussing with me the technician shared assessment of the phone shoing 1. Copy screen 2. Panel bend and 3. Minor scratches. Before sending this report to Cashify, he did not utter to me of his report. After 2 hours, they transferred me 15000/- Without telling me the final amount. When I saw the received amount in the bank, I immediately told person to pay the balance of 1810/-. They did not pay the balance, I spoke with customer care of Cashify and explained them the matter. Cashify customer care told me to email the issue to support email id of Cashify. Customer care also did not instruct technician to pay the balance. Ultimately I received only 15000/- as against evaluated price of 16810/-. I handed over the phone but did not give the original charger and the original box. I have raised the issue on Cashify support email id and asked them to check my Mobil screen (copy screen or original screen), (bend panel or clear panel).


It was terrifying experience for me to sale on Cashify. I appeal to the public - before erasing the data of your phone ask and get confirmation from the technician if the value as per his assessment and as shown on the Cashify app is same. Sale only and only if it matches. These pick up technicians are crooks and fraudsters. Cashify must talk to technician and customer at the point when final price is getting settled and if both the parties agree to the deal.


Seriously the worst experience, Cashify do deserve negative stars.
