I started watching Castle in its 3rd season. The series is a fantastic mystery cum love-story!
A well renowned play-boy writer needs inspiration for his next thriller novel. He finds it in a no-nonsense police detective, who herself has a mystery in her past. They inadvertently end up working together to solve crimes and find that they work better together! And, a few seasons later they manage to figure out they love each other too!
The series is an instant hit as it doesn’t follow any monotonous storyline. It’s a fun mix of comedy, romance, suspense and the occasional melodrama.
There are some very endearing characters in the show. Rick Castle’s family & Kate Becket’s friends all make the show immensely likeable.
