Central university of Himachal pradesh’s campus is still being not build. This university has hired a building near Shahpur, Kangra in a village named as Chattri and this is a temporary block of university. It provides about 20 to 25 courses at present time.It provides under graduation courses in some streams, post graduation and Phd. It has small library and due to insufficient rooms and infrastructure the classes are being taken in morning and evening shifts.In this university due to limitedness of area in temporary block there are harldy any playing activities and extracurricular activities.I am also a studying in this university in mathematics department. Administration is also not that good. There are being not much shops near this university. The University provides free wifi to students for that they gives each student a separate id to use.The hostels of university are also situated around 25 to 30 km away from university. Hostel for girls is being situated at Dharamshala and hostel for boys is being situated at kangra. The only positive about hostel is that university provides buses for students from hostel to university campus and they provide it at 500 rupees for one month per head. All and all this university doesn’t give as much facilities as other central university provides in other states.
