Chakum Chukum is a small fast food joint in Indiranagar. Even though its quite small, its almost always crowded. Teenagers and college students are always pouring in to grab a quick bite at an affordable price.
The interiors are done up in bright hues of red, yellow and purple keeping up with the hip crowd that comes in here. They have made optimum use of the space. There is a small table with a couple of stool for a small group. It might not look very comfortable to an adult but college students love this setting and this table is seldom empty. Even the table and stools are painted bright red and yellow and are surrounded by red picket fence.
Chakum Chukum is famous for its rolls and wraps. They serve varieties of rolls ranging from Mutton, Chicken, Eggs and Vegetables. Chakum Chukum has not restricted their menu and introduce a huge variety in these sub sections as well. For example, in the mutton section they offer Mutton kidney roll, Mutton liver roll, Mutton shami roll etc. They also mix vegetables with eggs, a rare combination and come up with some amazing rolls like Double Egg Palak Panner Roll. Who would have thought mixing egg, spinach and cottage cheese together?
Chakum Chukum offers a specialty called Malav roll which a jumbo roll stuffed with double portions of panner, seasonal vegetables, baby corn, white peas, Palak/Chicken Tikka & Chicken Shammi or Muttom Tikka & Mutton Shammi with four eggs. This roll is fit for a king. It is a huge roll and three people can share it; it is so filling.
Overall the joint is a cool place to hang out with friends for a couple of sodas and rolls.
