Chandrashekhar temple is located at SHAO village of Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh. It is temple of God Shiva. Its distance from Chamba city is only 17 kilometres. I am belongs to Pangi and I currently lives in Chamba .
I visits Chandrashekhar temple last year on the occasion of Mahashivratri. I go there with my brother. We go through by bus it takes at most forty five minutes to reach there. And the bus stop about 250 meter far away from the temple. As that was occasion of Mahashivratri many people are come here and much rush on that day. We are wait for some time because of the queue of people much long which was filled to its main gate.
Temple around area is good. Here is beautiful and very big size Shivling in temple and placed on upwards area in temple and that area is coated with brass and engrave on it Shiva Vaahan Nandi.
At the door of temple the two sculpture is created of God Shiva . One is Somya Rup and other is Rudhera Rup. The front courtyard of temple is looks good and big sized stone with hole touch the surface we can passed by that three times. And front of the temple big stone made sculpture of Nandi.Near to temple others temple also available.At the upper side through some rows of courtyard of temple the bigger size Hanuman sculpture.
I highly recommend this temple to visit. If you visit Chamba then never miss the chance to such a beautiful temple at Shao.
