Today I am going to share my experience about the movie Channa Mereya which I watched last week.
PLOT: Channa Mereya is a love story about Kainat(Payal Rajput), a girl belonging to an affluent family, who falls for her classmate Jagat(Ninja), a good looking guy who comes from a poor background. Initially they start seeing each other secretly, but when their relationship gets revealed they end up facing rebellion from Kainat’s brother Balli(Amrit Mann) and father(Yograj Singh) which makes them stronger and bolder with time. It is a story about unconditional love and the extent to which one can go in love. It is all about the struggle of the loved ones, towering egos of families, ruthlessness of the society, apathetic blood relations and undeterred love which remains forever, no matter what.
PERFORMANCE: The performance of all the actors in the movie was amazing even two of them(AMRIT MANN & PAYAL RAJPUT) were doing their first punjabi movie.
MUSIC: Only one song of the movie(HAWA DE VARKEYA) was good.
The only thing I hated the most in the movie was that it was without an ENDING! Both actor & actress were killed by girl’s brother but it wasn’t showed how? and what happened to their son?
