From the tube and then to the silver screen!, Charlies Angels have come a long way, well the girls are on a new mission and this time they are out to save Charlie himself! from a sadistic son of an army father, out to take revenge for his fathers death, which Charlie actually is not responsible for.
Well not much of a story though, screenplay is on the faster side and camera works are good.
Much of the focus is on Drew Barrymore and Cameron Diaz, Lucy Liu being felt left out.
The acting by the trio is okay, since the picture does not entail much of dramatics, though in this regard, the villian takes the cake.
There are hi tech fights, and lot of oomph!, well you have to take everything light heartedly and in jest, cause this is a fun film.
Here the girls dont wait for make up, but they are bashing a lot of guys, in fact, at times, three angels to beat one guy.
This picture is a hearty mix of Mission Impossible(Cameron Diaz doing the gymnastic stuff),
James Bond (All the girls are secret agents) and The Matrix (Martial arts in slow motion).
What you get is a picture pleasing to the eyes, but low on the brain stuff. A Treat to watch!
