I am Amruth Raj from EEE department, Chennai Institute of Technology. From the very beginning of my academic journey, the department’s emphasis on training and nurturing talent prepared me to face the challenges of the professional world. We trained in aptitude and coding as a routine. The competition based learning approach, where we participated in national and international events like Smart India Hackathons and Code-a-thons, not only enhanced my problem solving abilities but also boosted my confidence to take on real-world challenges.
The New Energy lab, with its focus on solar wind hybrid technology, broadened my knowledge of sustainable energy solutions, an area that is highly relevant in today’s world. Additionally the practical experience gained from working with the 300 KW solar panel installed in our Institute, allowed me to apply theoretical concepts to real-world situations giving me a competitive edge during placement Interviews.
