I moved my XUV 500 using their service from Chennai to Ahmadabad. Clearly told the Agent named .Kumar that its a big car, like Mahindra Xylo. He took the details and quoted Rs13000 total.
Then a so called manager named Munusamy came to pick up the car. He is a drinker, anyone cal tell. I was worried and asked him if he is drunk and will drive carefully. He said don’t worry I will take care of your car. Once its loaded on the truck I will call you. Instead after driving the car their office somewhere in T.Nagar, Kumar calls me and tells sorry I dint know its a big car, the rate should be Rs16000 instead of Rs 13000. I said how can you act like you don’t know when I clearly told you its a large car. He said ok I am not going to talk about this if you are not happy you come and take your car.
I said this is crazy, you want me to take my car now??? Where the hell is your office? I said you bring it back for me, you owe me the diesel money, he rudely replied what how much u want for the diesel, you come and take it from the office. Then I realized this is trouble and asked my advocate to talk to them, well based on his advice, this is the famous trick they pull on many people. knowing we are at their mercy and hold the car for ransom. So after my advocate spoke to them, that Kumar character agreed for Rs15500. Anyway after all the fear and somehow they really DID load the car on the trailer and drive it from 16th Dec and delivered to my home in Ahmadabad on the 25th Dec.
One thing good they did not use the car to be driven elsewhere. I took a photo of the before of the Odometer and after of the odometer. only 45 km was used for driving to their office and from unloading in AMD to my house. So in the end they do give good service, but avoid being tricked by this staff called Kumar and Munusamy. In my case coz XUV 500 is still new to market, most of the movers seem to act like they never heard of it.
