CHENNAI - The city of many wonders.

I lived in chennai for almost six years from 2003 to 2009. I finished my higher secondary education in Mercury matriculation school at mullainagar vysarpadi north chennai. I can just go non stop, describing the many wonders of chennai and its people. I strongly suggest people from across the country to visit this wonderful place to experience its unique culture and enjoy many sight seeing locations. Chennai being a metropolitan city is accessible in all fronts. ie buses, trains, flights and even through sea, you can reach chennai from all parts of the world. The main bus terminus is located at "koyambedu" . The international airport is located at "meenambakam". The southern railway junction is located at "chennai central" . The port is located at "rajaji salai". so people coming from different parts of the world can visit this great city through these different modes. Once you reach the city the first thing you have to visit is the marina beach, which is the second largest beach in the world ! others sight seeings are, the guindy national park, valluvarkottam, mylapore, connemara public Library, semmozhi poonga, royapuram fishing harbour and elliots beach. There are numerous hotels and accommodations, namely taj coromandal, the park, ITC etc. other accommodation are easily available through online and across the city in every nook and corner. As far as safety is concerned, chennai is one of the safest places for women, As per a recent data. Mostly its a very safer place for tourists however its always better to be cautious with autodrivers and other local service providers. Chennai is the best place to visit if you want to have a great south indian experience.
