Apart from VSNL my only other mail ID is from chequemail. The concept of shating part of the Advertisement revenue with members is interesting. It definitely acts as an incentive to log in to the site.
But then how long can one just log in and log out. It doesn’t work. So I decided to give out the chequemail ID of mine to others. You will notice that my e-mail ID on MouthShut is chequemail ID. This way I am forced to log in to check to check the mail.
The site may not be comparable to Hotmail or Yahoo, but it is a good beginning. It is simple without all the complications that you find on other sites.
