Satisifed Chevy owner

I have been driving my Aveo for the past 2 years and have had a very comfortable experience. I have cclocled close to 30, 000 kms and the vehicle has moved without a glitch. The reason for me to buy this car was the spacious interiors (matched only by Logan, Honda and SX4), above average quality of interiors and decent mileage. While all Maruti variants have cheap plastic , which I cannot stand (since my previous two cars were from the Maruti stable), Honda is expensive (just the tag carries 1-2 akh extra).

Aveo cruises at 150kmph easily...and reaches a maximum of 170kmph. Highway mileage is 14.5(with AC) and 15.5 (without AC). Within Mumbai city it is around 10-11 with AC. Other good features include, rear seats which are awesome, more spacious rear room as compared to Fiesta, SX4, Dzire, wide tyres and good suspension which absorb bumps efficiently, excellent AC in Mumbai peak season and silent cabin and good ground clearance (next to SX4).

However the things I would want GM to improve is a little more power , to make it more grunty. So if you are a teenager looking for power and grunt then maybe you should stay away. However if you are a refined and matured driver, then Aveo defintely scores.

Regarding After Sales, I bought my car from Nikhil Motors, Navi Mumbai and have got very good After Sales. Maybe one reason being that I haven’t had to visit the After Sales apart from the regular free service, but till date they have been very professional.

Overall this car is VFM. Low resaale value is just because of the "perceived" GM tag and poor After Sales. However if you can overcome this imediment, then this is the car.
