Finally I bought my new Chevrolet Beat Petrol LT(o) .
My Requirement: Car for a nuclear family of three.
Diesel/Petrol:
I prefred Petrol becoz
I will not use my car dialy, I prefer to take it on weekends and an occasional long drive per month. per month usage would be less than 1000 km. Maintanence Cost is Low.
Why Choosed Beat?
After reading so many reviews and lot of advice . I narrowed down my choice to Ritz, Figo(Diesel), Liva and Beat. After so many negative feedbacks I stayed away from i10.
Originally Beat isn’t in my wishlist.
My Heart said Figo(Diesel) and My Mind said Maruti Ritz but finally my wife said Chevrolet Beat. Yes she was impressed by the style of the Beat interiors and its exterior and then I have made my mind n heart to beat.
Clearly, ==Ritz ==is the winner in this segment for its performance, maintanence and service of maruti.
I have taken test drive on it, it has got the very powerful engine as well but the gear shift are not smooth and reverse gear doesn’t engage .
Interior dashboard isn’t that attractive.
Ford Figo - my god it’s driveability is so gud, driving experience is very smooth with figo, Diesel is gud in this segment but it has it’s own drawback of Engine Noise and low Ground Clearance made me stay away from it.
Beat. As I am a new driver I took my friend along with me for delivery, he drove mostly and out of curious I drove few kilometers on the first day with lot of doubts about my driving skills but man I should tell u that Beat drivng experience gave me so much confidence that I took my entire family for a long drive of nearly 500 kms in three days.
I felt I had the great steering control of it and ride was pretty smooth.
It’s a very gud experience with Beat so far .yet to calculate it’s mileage . Let u know soon.
I picked Red colour. KLN Motors in chennai is my dealer and I had a pathetic experience with them, I would recommend Sundaram Motors in chennai .
