Tavera is good vehicle but its spares are too delicate & not available in the market easily. Mileage is not so good as said by the company. They will say a mileage of abt 14-15kmpl in normal driving conditions but it actually gives only 9-10kmpl. The service by GM is also very bad.
Our own experience with this vehicle. We went on a long trip, & during night time our vehicle was hit on a stone in the under chassis. We saw that it has hit the diesel tank & it started leaking all the way. We somehow managed & drove 40kms and came. Overall they use cheap quality materials & the vehicle starts giving black smoke immediately after the engine gets warmed up. Also the sound of the engine reminds a truck while going at high speeds.
Another drawback is the last row seats. Its for jumping persons. Especially on bumpy roads our head will crash the roof.
