Directed by Roman Polanski Chinatown(1974) is a mystery film featuring Jack Nicholson(jake), Faye Dunaway(evelyn)and Roman Polanski himself.Story starts with evelyn asking detective jake to follow his husband about his affair with somebody else.A great series of events and threats suspects evelyn that she herself hides something from detective jake.Detective Jake finally discovers the bitter truth about evelyn’s family.The twist and suspence of the film makes it a classic detective film.Jack Nicholson was as usual outstanding and so is faye dunaway.
