Chingari a film by Kalpana lajmi having Sushmita Sen as protagonist so by their previous records if I expected a well crafted movie , it was not my fault but what I found instead is a package full of crudeness .why Sushmita bears the tortures by Mithun da can not be justified .Sushmita with her latent sophistication is not able to identify with the village belle.and anuj sahani with his indifferent acting is the final nail in chingari’s coffin .music is as ineffective as the film itself. in which village we find such characters as Mithun nowadays .the past movies of the director were full of human emotions and her capabilities were quite apparent but this movie shatters the future hope for the director .the saving grace of the film is Sushmita’s portrayal of the prostitute.her power packed performance proves her versatality and rates her among the performers of bollywood.Mithun chakroborty has also matched his performance with Sushmita.but both the protagonist are unable to save the fate of the movie .readers should not waste their precious time and money on chingari because it can burn both.
