FIITJEE=Forget about IIT JEE

**’All that glitters is not gold’**

Well this is the case with most institutes and Fiitjee is no exception. I was a Fiitjee’s 2 year classroom coaching student at Chandigarh centre. I joined a weekend course because I had to come from Jalandhar which is abt  3.5 hour journey from chd, just imagine how much travel it involved every week? Apart from being a topper at school( 87% marks in CBSE 2004), I always topped the fiitjee phase tests and I got SL 113 AIEEE rank but NO ONE IN MY FIITJEE  2 YR. BATCH EXCEPT ME CLEARED THE SCREENING AND I COULD NOT QUALIFY IN THE MAIN EXAM DUE TO FIITJEE’S HELP:-

*  ** Syllabus not completed: **The classes which were to be completed by October 03 were put off in January 04 without even finishing the syllabi! and the last phase finished without any tests.

* ** Review Class: ** No Review Classes were taken and the pathetic administration is very unplanned and unorganised keeps on making excuses.This is the case with a lot other institutes.

* ** Tests:** ONLY 3 PART TESTS WERE CONDUCTED IN THE ENTIRE COURSE OF 2 YEARS. Even on constant demand, NO FULL TESTS TAKEN.

FIITJEE at time of admission boasts of Test Analysis, BUT BELIEVE ME, NO TEST ANALYSIS WAS EVER DONE DURING THE 2 YEARS.

* **All theory, No Numericals:** In a crucial subject like physics, we always did theory in class and no attention to paid for numericals.

* **Doubt Analysis:** Even after travelling from such a far away city to the center, the teachers did not bother to clear the doubts at many instances AS THE TEACHERS ALSO TAUGHT AT THEIR OWN TUITION CENTRES.  This extremely shrewd and non professional attitude can never help any student prepare for a competeitive exam like IIT- JEE

** Thus, I advice all the serious IIT aspirants to keep away from such institutes like FIITJEE which advertise a lot and ruin your career. Only a few teachers are really good but not all. So one should not compromise. Especially for students in cities with less IIT coaching facilities, I would tell them not to join weekend courses as you gain nothing travelling to these institutes. IT IS WISE TO GO TO INDIVIDUAL PROFESSORS OF THE SEPERATE SUBJECTS, DONT COMPROMISE.**
