Last year I was diagnosed with LEICHAN PLANUS a kind of skin / pigmentation problem by a most leading dermatologist after thorough clinical investigations and pathalogical tests. I was continuing the medicines prescribed by him for some time and got lured to the advertisements of Dr.Batra’s Positive Health Clinic through net.
I was badly stumbled with their promises and a like an ordinary indian’gaav vaala’ I made the registration with them through net. then my deep problems started. after a few days I received a call from their front desk for consultation. I approached their maredpally [secunderabad] clinic with heaps of hopes. firstly I was nicely taken care by their front desk staff with their sweet smiles with warm details then handed over a sheet to scribble my details [again]. immediately I was asked to speak to their doctor. I was surprised to see a small girl. initially I thought I may have to face an experienced doctor of more than my age, but the so called doctor looks much younger to my daughter’s age[Dr.Aparna]. I explained her my problem in detail. after careful hearing of my problem she started showing some pictures related to this disease which are in most advanced stage. initially I was deeply perturbed to have a glance of the photos, then after few minutes of settlement I questioned her about the seriousness of the problem comparing with my printouts taken from net. the answer she darted me that every thing will be settled comfortably with their treatment and asked to shell down Rs. 6500/- on the spot. she even explained that payment can be made by credit card or in installments provided I have an icici credit card [an another useless bank]. I came out of the room and handed over my another card to avoid interest on installments etc., and told that I should be charged only Rs. 5500/- since I have booked through net [ a provision appeared] before my plea they have swiped my card for Rs.6500/- and again cancelled and this time swiped for Rs.5500/-. then she started giving treatment. the treatment is very nice and attractive words. the atmosphere is not a like any hospital but it is like a five star hospital only.
subsequently, they started missing my appointments [3 or 4 times] they have rescheduled my appointments. every time I make a phone call, first one minute goes for’Dr.BATRA’S POSITIVE HEALTH CLINIC, [NAME] HOW CAN I HELP YOU’ etc., afterwards when a question is posed for need they will give music only or the line gets disconnected. the treatment went for few months and subsequently I have noticed that there is no improvement at all. but their answer is that it may take few years [ooooops] every year I have to pay Rs.5500/-. after a strong struggle I demanded that I should be referred to any dermatologist of their hospital rather than an ordinary doctor. subsequently I was given an appointment with Dr. Ramakrishna said to be specialist in skin problems [again he is very young one can still feel that he is a student of the beginning of the course] he advised to stop all alopathic treatment and trust his drugs only. having faith on him I have stopped my external alopathic ointments with his medicines, the problem erupted little wildly. this Dr.Ramakrishna was never available as he himself fallen sick on several occassions or any other personal problems. immediately I swinged to my dermatologist for his treatment wherein I was fired for discontuning his drugs as it is a course of treatment and no time should be given up.
the problem is reported to their staff several times but of no use and the founder doctor Mr.Batra is concentrating on research or giving poses with prime minister or top vvips or opening corporate hospitals at other countries. the hospital staff are useless every time I have watched several patients are having tough time with them and some of them started shouting also on the front desk staff. it is not understood how come this hospital got ISO certification whether it is given or obtained? the service of the staff is much worse than the government hospitals. big advertisements [of late it is appearing even in sports channels or international channels].
one can find beautiful photographs of dr.batra with prime minister or his photo with news letter etc., good air conditioned rooms with neat seating chairs [only few] makes new comers comfortable only. recently when I referred these problems to their registered office, I got a call from customer relation manager. but the most pathetic situation is that they do not bother to reply to e-mails and their web site is also horrible you cannot send any message from that. it is badly created. the fax nos. given never work. their help line staff argues for any assistance required. after a prolonged discussions with their manager he promised that he will try to refund my money since, my letter says that I will approach legally for the kind of high class cheating in medical field. now, I have their payment after deducting the consultation fees etc., but the same person promised to refund the balance also and still awiting. I have seen in another case wherein a cheque is refunded to another person.
it is evident they are not treating the patients but doing business under the name of’medical treatment’. now, through this site, I sincerely request people not to approach this hospital by seeing big advertisements or out side beauty. initially they will threat you by showing the horrible /most advanced stage photographs of the diseases and lures you with their pep talk. keep your purse bulky every year. it is also to be ascertained how come homeo doctors will not reveal the medicines alike alopathic doctors? is it genuine? legal? ethical?
if any of the above is challenged by Dr.Batra, I am ready to prove with all documents in any forum or on any platform. at leat with this message let them raise to the occassion and keep the nation’s name high and high.
the last piece of this message where every one is to keep in mind is that DR.BATRA’S POSITIVE HEALTH CLINIC OF THE TWIN CITIES [HYDERABAD & SECUNDERABAD] HAS NOT BEEN RECOGNIZED BY ANDHRA PRADESH GOVERNMENT UNDER’AUSH’ [AYURVEDA, UNANI, SIDDHA AND HOMEO]
