User-friendly phones

Owning a cellphone today is more out of necessity than anything else. Does not depend on whether the person is educated or uneducated. What factors to keep in mind while buying a cellphone will depend on the sort of usage a person has.

Besides affordability and type of usage, there are some basic things that might be common when someone goes to buy a cellphone.

The phone must be user-friendly-one should not have to struggle if he/she is a novice. The basic features like making and receiving calls and text-messaging should come easy and the user should not have to go through a lot to learn these basic things. Also the phone must be sturdy enough, should not come apart if is dropped (accidentally of’course). Am sure even the most careful user has dropped it atleast once while there are some who do it regularly!

I have used and found Nokia to be one of the MOST user-friendly phones and would certainly recommend ’Nokia 3310’ to be the best choice for someone who needs a cellphone with very basic features. Is very user-friendly, has the basic features and yet is not too ugly looking. Infact some features like forwarding ringtones, having a personalised screensaver and other options on this one are not available on even some high-end models(have now upgraded to ’Nokia 8250’). Have used many other Nokia high-end models, own an 8250 now(miss some cool features 3310 has).

Besides Nokia, I have used Siemens, LG, Samsung, Sony..and have hated how not so user-friendly they are.

After Nokia I’d say Sony is the next user-friendly cellphone I have used.

So for anyone who is looking for the most-user friendly phone I’d recommend Nokia.
