I was of the opinion that washing machines are just good enough for storing water rather than washing. I used to always ridicule those who used washing machines, since many families I knew used to store water in washing machines.
They felt that the washing machines do not wash clothes cleanly. Yes I too agree with them to a certain level. But on a New year I purchased a washing machine (i.e in 1997) and from then onwards I have had a complete satisfactory relationship with my washing machine. (TVS WHIRLPOOL). I can now wash my cloths at any time of the day or night.In rainy seasons I do not have to worry about my cloths being wet.My washing machine dries the cloths in minutes. I don’t get tired even after washing my whole week’s soiled cloths.
I can watch TV, read, even go to market even as my cloths are being washed.I can take a nap also. I do not ridicule anybody for buying washing machine nowadays rather I recommend one and all to buy washing machine at the earliest. For me washing machine is not a luxury but a neccessity. God as given me washing machine as a boon for all the hard work I had done before buying a washing machine.
