I have been using windows xp professional for last 8 months and found it very helpful I think win xp is the best o/s after windows 98 microsoft have given a good support for the latest hardware . I have a cd-r and previously I was using win 2000 prof so for burning my cd’s I had to install nero burn software for writing the cd’s but now my work as become much easier I only right click on my folder or file and click on send to cd-r and then click on write to it automatically writes that file to the cd’s I that part I like the most well . the booting is faster than the previous versions but I think for running smoothly it requires 256 mb of ram . Internet explorer, media player, outlook etc are amazing u will love it the only con I found it that it doesnt support the older hardware properly
