I bought the LG 1 TON 5 star AC in the month of May2010 spending 26K. They promised to come at certain time for the installation and I had taken the leave accordingly. They never turned up on that day and after giving several calls they turned up after 2 days for the installation. For the initial 2 months the cooling was working fine and then it just didnt work. I had called lg service center at least more the 70-75 times, many time they will just close the call without doing anything saying, customer is not picking the phone or not reachable. It was like height of frustration after spending 26K and thinking that I am buying a very good product. After lot of follow up their person came, cleaned the filter and went back but the problem didnt get resolved. With lot of follow up the another person came and said that the gas is less and he will come back next day.vanished again.
Again after calling them so many times now another wonderful technician came filled the gas and said he has made sure that there is no leakage, made it working and left. The AC again stopped cooling within 24 hours.I am following up from the last 2 weeks with the LG service guys.They say "Life is good" but looks like they are making it bad for lot of people with there ACs at least.
Good luck to you all who buy LG ACs.hope you dont have to call LG service anytime which is hard to avoid in case of ACs.
