Burn baby burn..Not with DeLonghi !

At Jilmil’’s suggestion, I am writing this opening sentence(or 2) to let you know that this is actually under the incorrect category! This category is for helping choose an oven/toaster, not about a specific brand. Sorry!=( *

Being a person who does a lot of cooking, (I love to cook!), I have my kitchen equiped with lots of small appliances to help.

I have a counter top toaster-oven-broiler by DeLonghi and let me tell you, it’s great! It does everything a standard oven does, but, naturally in smaller quantity.

It’s perfect for, top toasting cheeses on casseroles quickly. You can bring back the fresh and crusty taste of breads by sprinkling with a few drops of water, setting on a low/medium temperature and heating for a few minutes, until the bread is once again, crusty on the outside and warm and chewy on the inside.

You can bake a small batch of cookies, cook a hamburger or broil a steak without heating up the whole kitchen and dirtying your big oven.

There’s no need for a counter top toaster any longer either. The DeLonghi makes perfectly toasted bread slices or English muffins and, most of all, you don’t have to worry about rolls or bagels being too fat to fit into the toaster slots!

You can also use it to keep foods warm without overcooking them until the rest of the meal is prepared.

There is an automatic timer so you can rest assured that your food won’t burn or overcook.

It comes with a removable rack that can positioned in many ways for ease in broiling, baking, roasting, toasting, and heating. You get a baking sheet that slides in and rests on the multi level slots, a broiler pan that is perforated to allow fats and oils to drip off the food being prepared, and a roasting pan that will hold a chicken easily. And a removable handle that clips on when you are ready to remove the tray or rack you’re using.

The bottom removes for easy cleaning and the glass door is a breeze to keep sparkling so you can watch your foods cooking.

Caution though! The appliance does get hot. It is not like a microwave(nor does it claim to be). It is just like any other oven or toaster. Only smaller, more convenient for cooking smaller quantities and an extra cooking space for doing anything your big oven can.

The DeLonghi toaster-oven-broiler sells for about $79.00(US) and is well worth the money.
