We have three sons. They are very different in their interests and tastes which makes gift buying a real challenge. What is gold to one is trash to another. Are you ready to meet them?
Number one son-College student in environmental studies and member of an alternative rock band. Hes also a vegetarian and a great cook. He makes most of his clothing purchases in the thrift shop. The gifts he seemed to most appreciate this year? -An Asian Vegetarian cookbook by Madhur Jaffrey, a nylon wallet(no leather, please!), plain waffle weave henley jerseys and gift certificates for the bookstore and jelly belly jelly beans!
Number two-apprentice electrician and major carnivore! He also wanted a new wallet-leather, please!, tools, tools and more tools and money for his car. His clothes must be a name brand and two sizes too big and if his girlfriend doesnt like the color-theyll be going back! He prefers his gcs for Dunkin Donuts and Subway.
Number three-only 9. He loves basketball, books, the computer and of course, video games. Hes more easily pleased-legos, legos, legos and video games. His favorite gift? Lego Steven Spielberg Movie Maker.(combines lego creations with the computer). No clothes please! Yuck!
Each a unique being with unique likes and needs. They really are fun to buy for. And we did find a couple things all three always want-boxer shorts and chocolate!
Now that we have the gifts under control-You should hear the discussions around restaurant selection for family celebrations!
