AN APPLE A DAY KEEPS THE DOCTOR AWAY.

Hello friends in this review im gonna focus on the importance of apple.


If we consider the uses of apple then its the sweetest thing the god has made.well let me not waste any time im directly focusing on the main contents now.


Apple is a native of Eastern Europe and Western Asia and has been cultivated from pre-historic times. The apple is a highly nutritive food. It contains minerals and vitamins in abundane.


From the energy point of view the calorific value of apple is:protein 0.2%, fat 0.5%, carbohydrates 13.4% minerals 0.3%, fibre 1%, moisture 84.6%, vitamin A 40 IU, small amounts of vitamin B complex, and vitamin E.


calorific value is 59 cal-Values per 100 gms edible portion.


Apple is useful in following ways:


1)  As source of vitamins, minerals.


2)  Iron contained in the apple helps in formation of blood.


3)  Apples have been found useful in acute and chronic dysentery among children.


4)  Apples are useful in kidney stones.


5)  Sweet apples are valuable in dry hacking cough.


6)  Apple is also said to be beneficial to gout patients caused by increase of uric acid in blood.


7)  Tooth-decay can be prevented by regular consumption of apples as they possess a mouth cleansing property.


8)  Apples are of special value to heart patients. They are rich in potassium and phosphorus but low in sodium. It is also useful for patients of high blood pressure.


9)  Raw apples are good for constipation.


10)  Apples, boiled to a jelly, make a very good liniment for rheumatic pains. They should be rubbed freely on the affected area.


11)  The apple is the best fruit to tone up a weak and run-down patient.Apple tones up the body, functional organs, so its very useful.


12)  The apple peel water is useful to cure inflammated eyes.The pulp is kept over the closed eyes.
