When will we make original movies? For how long will we copy the west? Who cares when we enjoy them! Chor Machaye Shor(CMS) is a remake of a hit Hollywood movie – Blue Streak. David Dhawan(director) seems to have found his funny bone – which he had buried somewhere, and was searching for from past 3 years. When it comes to comedy, Bobby Deol is no big shakes, but he manages to give few movements to our face. CMS features two sultry actresses – Shilpa Shetty and Bipasha Basu. As usual in our Bollywood movies, ladies are called only to shake their legs, and our ladies do that job with utter confidence. While Bipasha sizzles in her police uniform, Shilpa gets on our nerves whenever she says something. This is no end to the cast, we have a long list of actors: Paresh Rawal, Ashish Vidhyarti, Rajat Bedi, Rajpal Yadav, etc.
Get into the cinema only if you have not seen Blue Streak, or you are a die-hard Bobby Deol fan. Moreover, if you are allergic to an actor called Shekar Suman, like me, don’t even think of watching it, even if you are given $100 to watch.
