Chupke Chupke has to be one of the best comedy films of all times.The film was directed by Hrishikesh Mukherjee, the man who gave us great movies like Anand, Abhimaan, Satyakam, Guddi and innumerable others.C.C was also one his best movies.The film had all the ingredients of wholesome laugh riot, and the comedy was amazingly subtle.We hardly get to see such comedies today.C.C had a great starcast, with Amitabh.B, Dharmendra, Om prakash, Sharmila.T, Jaya.B and Asrani playing the main roles.Both Amitabh and Dharmendra had brilliant comic timing, and both excelled in their roles, besides being perfect foils to each other.The dialouges of the film were simple yet effective thus adding to the humour of the film.The scenes where Dharmendra converses with Om prakash in pure hindi to irritate him, still sends me into fits of laughter and also the scenes where Amitabh desperately tries to explain the corolla sequence to Jaya.B, who mistakes him as the botany professor were very humorous.I was in splits when I first saw the film and even now it generates the same feelings in me.
For me it is the no.1 laff raiser, and if you luv laughing go and watch the movie if you have not seen it yet.
