This is with regards to the service charge I had to aishwaryasingh23 for the buffett lunch taken along with my family members at chutney chang, jayAnasultangar branch, bangalore on 28/01/2018. Details of the bill have been shared below.

Upon enquiry with the staff regarding service charge being levied though being optional, I was informed that it is mandatory and has to be paid. As per the govt order no hotels should mandatorily collect service charge from the customer. As per my knowledge govt has issued orders not to charge service charge from the customers. It is therefore requested to kindly inform me whether they can charge service charge from the customers if not, necessary action be taken against the above mentioned establishment for making such charges and violating the orders of the govt. The charge which is voluntary has been made into mandatory during the bill aishwaryasingh23ment.
