Recently I have taken my latest CIBIL report & when analysed found errors in the records .
I have written to CIBIL( raised dispute) and got the clarification as below( ref service request no 40895045)
message:.
"
We would like to inform you that we had conducted a detailed analysis and found that based on the data submitted to us, the CIR generated for you had credit information details of another individual/(s) due to the similarity in the identifying details.
The following account have been separated and will not appear in your report going forward.
Credit Institution Name Account Number ICICI BANK XXXX6807
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused to you.
We will send you a corrected copy of your CIBIL Report after resolution of all the disputes raised. "
Because of this errors my CIBIL score has come down & reflected bad credit history
My request to everyone, please go through your CIBIL report carefully & there may be errors i.e account information of other individuals might have appeared . Raise dispute & request for correcting the same
CIBIL is not professional organization, they do only business by sharing the individual information which has been collected by the different institutions .What is teh responsibility of CIBIL when they declare the wrong information which has spoiled the credit history( score) . They are taking Rs 500/- to share our information through a report .The rule should be the payment made to get a report should be refunded is any erroneous information in the report which has been accepted by them.
I would like to share this information to all & alert them on spoiling the individual credibility .
