Trident Restaurant: The main restaurant was booked, so had to sample the food at their coffee shop.
Dinner is buffet, unless you want to wait endlessly for a-la-carte service.
The buffet spread was hopelessly south indian, with a sprinkling of North Indian dishes. The dessert and salad selection was very sad.
Opted for a-la-carte and lived to rgret it.
Rule 1. Never order a-la-carte in a buffet restaurant
Rule 2. If you do order a-la-carte, please check in to the hotel, freshen up, watch your favourite sitcom. By this time, hopefully, your dinner will be served.
Rule 3. Never go to these kind of hotels, located near the airport, and invariably far away from other options. The lack of variety on the menu are killing.
Only +ve : The North Indian food tasted the way it is supposed to be, unlike Madras Gymkhana, where the Butter Chicken tasted more like ’’Rasam’’ Chicken
