I would like to express my extreme dissatisfaction with my Citi credit card service.
On November 26th 2008(The day before Thanksgiving), I was 1 hour and 40 minutes late making my online payment. For my hour and a half late, I was charged a$39 late fee and a$4.90 finance charge on my November bill. I was THEN charged an additional$6.09 finance charge on my December bill for the same incident(I paid my November bill in one full payment).
I have been an extremely loyal Citi customer since 2004. I have never had a late payment, and pay my balance in full about 80% of the time. I am extremely disappointed in Citi for charging a loyal and on time customer$50 during the Holiday season for logging in an hour and a half too late.
The program that I have my card through is changing their affiliation from Citi to Bank of America in March, and I could not be happier to be getting away from this desperate company that has no respect for their customers. I used to talk them up to everyone I could think of, but I will be doing the opposite from now on.
