Nothing personal against Citibank but I dont like the way they treat MY money. By MY money I mean the customers money.
Take a credit card for instance............you swipe today.........you are very happy.....dont be!!!! The bill could give you a heart attack & a total nervous breakdown both at the same time. No miracles from doctors here to save you.
And yeah you want to cancel your card...................?
Cool!!!! Just spend a day at the nearest Citibank centre (or whatever it is they call it......) & get it done.
Throw the days attendance at your office out the window who cares the citi don’t care!!
Take a Savings Bank Account................They call it the Suvidha ??
What an irony for a name.
You got to have a minimum deposit you know. Agreed there obviously has to be something or why the hell would you want an account at all!!!????
Suppose you open an account.........(mind you you never go to them they come to you to open an account)......it slips your mind that a minimum balance is required & that you have cleaned out your account...........
Citi cooly takes your account below the scale & thinks your account has a NEGATIVE balance.

Does the mailman say he doesn’t carry citi mails or something?
All of a sudden you remember you had an account with Citi & you try getting customer care (thats a good thing they have, you have to admit)....
The lady has a great voice & very softly tells you you have a negative balance......
There.........Happy??
Then you realise you had to think about this earliesr.
It is not the concept of negative balance that hurts but the lack of corresspondence that hurts.
Gives a different image about the Citi I felt.
I maybe wrong but I don’t like it one bit.
