Fleecing Credit Card
Just by virtue of having a Suvidha account got a call from CitiBank representative that one can get a FREE Citibank Credit Card. But the credit card has a lot many issues:
1) An uncontrolled ’Standing Instruction’ is setup by Citibank on your Suvidha account. Even if you make full payment the SI debits the minimum amount due from the account.
Even if you request the customer care officers are not able to advise on the same.
2) Too many chargeable options are levied without any consent. After some usage time, premium options like Premium for some policy etc are levied And the customer care officers are not easy enough to reach for the same and deactivate.
3) Three times I only have requested for duplicate statements and I really don’t know why the statements never come in time.
My suggestion is that <-> Avoid Citibank Credit Cards totally. There are lot of genuine and transparent credit card companies like ICICI etc and a lot of nationalized banks to have started issuing them and the bank statements on credit card are also straight forward and hence if either Citibank Card Member Services have to amend their ways or we have avoid the same.
