Citi Bank - Ready to take always

Well dont get shocked to see the subject Line of my Message, Let me share the experience I had with Citibank.

Quite often I used to receive the call from Citibank Chennai in regards to get a Life time free credit card, but always used to refuse the offer, as it is not an offer for me but to get into the trouble and getting ready for the Mental torture. I Always used to refuse to this as this is Just a game plan between Citibank and their Direct Sales agents (DSA’S) as I know the marketing strategy of the Bank and how cruel the bank can be towards the customer.

There has been an Instance when I deposited cash into my account through the ATM and this took more than week’s time to ge credit into my account and this was the result of my several calls where I was told that the envelope I deposited was missing.

This is disgusting I cant understand why is this so????? Even after giving the reference # the Citiphone officer still wont feel himself responsible and comes to gives wrong excuses, and finally after so Many conversations with so many officers the money got credited when it was too late.

What one could do, this bank charges for each and everything as walk-in charges like Depositing cash, Depositing Cheque, Widrawing Cash, etc of Rs 100 and this is not with any other banks.

Another Instance happened recently with me is that I got a call from the Citibank in regards to the Credit Card and the card for which I never applied for, and the person calls me and says that there is a credit card on my name and came to my office for address verification. How can the bank send me a credit card without getting my approval.

This is not only with the credit card, but also with the Debit cards, where the bank sends the additional cards to the account holders by telling that it is issued free of cost or sometimes use marketing tricks and finish the call by misguiding the customer’s and sends them the card without getting the approval and charge towards the same and sometimes they send 2 to 3 cards to the one person like Indian Oil card, Grocery card, hutch card etc

All ths is to squeeze the money from the account holders and this is all about citibank and one could often see the drama happening between the customer and citiphone officer in the ATM centers.

The bank is always keen to give offers which lands up in suffocating the the ordinary people and finally the banks gets benefited.
