Almost 9 months ago I decided to give it a try over more reputed hospitals in city. It had opened not very long ago. I was reluctant for some of the other established hospital’s due to feedback about the visits being akin to pilgrimages.
Finally I would say that we were very satisfied with the overall experience. The gynecologists Dr Jayshree Desai and Dr Radhika managed my wife’s pregnancy and the labor very well, and we were able to trust their advise. They tried for a normal delivery but finally we had to go for c-section which went smoothly.
The new born had tightly knotted cord twice around the neck we are thankful for a safe delivery and a healthy baby. During the operation the doctors engaged my wife really well to soothe her nerves. Post operative care for mother and baby were excellent. Kudos to nursing staff there.
My newborn had to undergo IV there to control urea content. I felt that before it had to reach the IV stage it could have been managed better to avoid the situation by more timely action on developing symptoms. It was nothing serious but seeing IV injected to newborn was painful. The canteen there is very disappointing and we were surprised that a a basic amenity like bottle sterilizer was not available. The pharmacy is also a bit under stocked. Given that the cost rivals the reputed hospitals there cannot be any excuse for such things.
Overall, we left the hospital quite satisfied and thankful.
