Actually I haven’t seen the whole City Center but only SPAR in it. So this is basically about SPAR. It boast of large area and it is correct but there are somethings lacking so here are the pros and cons:
Pros:
1. the confectionery section was having fresh and tasty eats and quite inexpensive too.
- sales people are very helpful and pleasant
Cons:
in that vast area they have fewer items than what Nilgiri has in a much smaller area. Range of products is grossly inadequate for a store of its size.
Taking the stuff to the parking lot was a torture. They dont allow you to use lift that goes down till -1 parking lot with the trolley, you have to come out and drag your heavy trolley from L1 parking till next level and on the slope its not only difficult but dangerous! (i heard there is another parking lot with approach from upper floor but was not directed to it.)
Found vegetables and fruits to be quite expensive
Early on they used to give fishes in half or one kg but now they seem to sell the whole fish only (and the sizes were huge) so its ridiculous that one had to buy a 3-5 kg fish if at all one has to buy.
Even the meat section had no varieties, only chicken ham and chicken salami.
So my recommendation is only for Confectionary section.
