This is review about a Pune multiplex opened recently, so would not be of interest for other people.Read henceforth at your own wish.
The fourth multiplex of Pune named Gold Adlabs opened on 1 st April.I watched the first day first show of movie Karam. This was not first day first show of movie but of the multiplex itself so planning to preserve the ticket(as I was first customer also.)
This is located very near to new bridge constructed between Koregaon Park and Kalyaninagar. It is visible from the bridge. From railway staion the distance is about 4 km. and from Yeravada bridge it is about 2 kms.
There are three screens with capacities of about 350 each.Actually it is part of a mall which is still under construction. These screens are on second floor.
Interiors are similar to that of ESquare so are the ticket rates.I think ESquare has pretty much standardised the things and all the forthcoming multiplexes will be compared to it.
Ticket rates are in the range of 40 to 60 bucks in morning and go on till 60 to 100 bucks at night. The better thing is that 4 rows are available with lowest ticket instead of 1 in Esquare and another 7-8 in the middle ticket rate instead of 4 in Esquare.
All the latest Hindi and English flicks are available but the thing which I liked most was a Marathi flick Navara maza navasacha is running 3 shows.
I got to see some good trailors, then there was Anthem and main movie but the strage thing is that it seems generator is still not available because they talked of money refund in case of power failure.
Internet booking is still not avilable.(wonder how many use it anyway?)
As for other entertainment there is nothing right now.Only Mcdonalds is opened and KFC outlet is about to be opened. There is nothing right now which should make you to leave Esquare or CityPride to go at such far place but it might be there in future. Will keep you updated about it.
But for those who live or work in the vicinity this will prove to be great place as they would not have to come all the way to Inox and it is much cheaper to Inox. I would recommend it to all from bachelors and couple to family and elders living nearby in Eastern Pune for any movie.
