Clairol Herbal Essences Replenisher Shampoo

My hair has been permed and colored for years resulting in dry, frizzy and damaged looking hair. I had used many shampoos and conditioners to try and salvage my mane, most with the same disappointing outcome. Nothing helped avoid the brittle effect without causing undue build up on my hair, until I tried Clairol Herbal Essences Replenisher Shampoo

I found a family size (25.4 fl oz /750 ml) Clairol Herbal Essences Replenisher Shampoo at Kmart for about $5 and usually lasts a couple of months. It has a nice floral scent and is intended for colored, permed, dry or damaged hair.

The reason I like this shampoo so much is that it does a wonderful job on my thick hair. My hair no longer feels like straw and is now very manageable. The healthy shine has returned and my hair looks terrific. The shampoo’s light fragrance is not overpowering, so even my husband will use it. A small scoop of this shampoo goes a long way while creating a nice thick lather and washes out easily.

Clairol Herbal Essences Replenisher Shampoo is not tested on animals and uses no animal byproducts. The shampoo is in a plastic recyclable container and formula is biodegradable. It claims that over 99% of the ingredients blended in the shampoo are natural and plant-derived to help moisturize and protect my hair. Some ingredients are Citric acid, Vitamin E, Rose Hips and Jojoba in Mountain Spring Water.

Normally, I wouldn’t be able to use the same shampoo over long periods of time because of greasy build up, but I’ve had no problem using Clairol Herbal Essences Replenisher Shampoo every day for months in a row. While it is recommended to use Herbal Essences Protection Conditioner with this shampoo, I have not found it necessary.

I have not been disappointed with my hair since using it and I recommend Clairol Herbal Essences Replenisher Shampoo with the same color treated hair as mine.
