In this day and age of online shopping, I thought it’s better to support smaller investors and their employees by buying from shops.
Lesson learned - physical shop has no discount, but same shoes are discounted online. I even emailed Clarks customer service why their sale is not reflected at their shop at the mall, and asked if they have a best price guarantee. All I got was that the specific colour I bought is at MRP on Clarks.in.
Had they tagged the other colours at the shop with a discount, I would naturally have gotten those instead, or I would have at least been aware of price difference. Also, the same colour that I bought was on sale at Myntra, but despite my mention of that, they didn’t comment on it.
I don’t know if it’s just a tactic by Clarks.in to sell their shoes at random prices, but that’s the last of it for me with this brand. There are many other good shoe brands with honest policies, better warranties, and better customer service.
