Clash of Clans is undoubtedly one of the most popular mobile phone games. Like everyone else I have been hooked on playing it at one time or another. It is a great looking game and I loved the colorful graphics that are perfect for this kind of a mobile game.It also plays smoothly on most phones and I have never had it hang on my phone so it has obviously been coded well. In the beginning playing Clash of clans is an incredibly fun experience. The tower defense and village building aspects are highly addictive and so is the multiplayer. Joining a clan and attacking other peoples bases is very entertaining but after a few days the game becomes incredibly boring. This is because it takes too much time to build everything and progress through the game. Recent updates have made it impossible to get to higher levels in a reasonable amount of time without spending real money to buy resources that speed up your progress. This was clearly a mercenary move by the game developers and has tarnished the experience and gameplay of Clash of clans permanently.Why would anyone play a free to play game that cannot be truly enjoyed unless you spend a good deal of real world cash on it? With that money you could just buy paid to play games instead. Due to this glaring fault and even though this game has it’s good points, I cannot really recommend it to anyone.
