Once again I return to this paradise called MS....
John Grisham sure does seem to be a very accomplished author...i have read only one book of his - THE CLIENT
the best thing about this book which I liked was that I felt that he had not used many characters and had concentrated on the two important characters a lot that made this book a very interesting one to read.
The story revolves around Mark Sway and his lawyer Reggie who are trying to get rid of the mafia behind them.....all these problems arise because of a suicide that Mark witnesses and also because of the information that he obtains prior to the suicide.
THE 2 MAIN CHARACTERS....
MARK SWAY - He is a 11 year old school boy who likes going out and having a forbidden smoke almost daily. Bein shrewd, intelligent and quick tongued for his age he seems a perfect match for the Mafia dons who are after him to silence him as he knows a lot about a murder that has been committed by a mafia don. he is also intelligent enough to tackle the FBI agents along with his lawyer friend.
REGGIE LOVE - A 52 year old lady who is hired by Mark as his lawyer. She is the only ally Mark has and he has to trust. she is all ready to protect Mark and his family at any cost. the way the author has cultivated a relationship between Mark & Reggie is warming.
I would describe this book as really ’’ENGROSSING’’ and you will not want to keep the book down till you complete it.
I would say that this book is without a mistake a must read for all....
