I am least experienced on these body products. One main reason is, I believe in avoiding to try every new product which comes up. Mouthshut is going to be very useful for a person like me, as I can use others experience. It makes choosing the product so easily. When it comes to hair oil, I still have used a few brands like clinic, keo carpin, hare and care and ultra deux. The basic criteria which I use to choose hair oil is,
It should not be strongly fragrant, and whatever the fragrance it has should not be overpowering all natural fragrances around me (but in India, at some places I do wish vice-a-versa.
Oil should be light in composition. I hate sticky or heavy oil.
Should not cause hair loss.
4.I have seen people having different experiences with these products, one reason is the way your body react to a particular product. Overall, if a product is working well with most of the people, it is supposed to have the contents that are not very strong. So I go by people’s opinion.
Cilinic All Clear, fits to the criteria of fragrance and being light in texture, but it does not seem to be working for what it claims. The dandruff does not go away with this oil, one reason could be that I dont apply too much oil to my hairs, its always a few drops (6-7). But for keeping away dandruff, I will not like to keep my hairs oily.
SO I use antidandruff shampoo, which seemingly work ok, unless you start to use them over the required amount (all these shampoos are detergent based, so they make skin dry).
But the formula which works for me is
1.to take daily head bath (its easy with short hairs, for ladies it must be pain, but I will still recommend a frequent hair wash).
Do not use hot water or too warm water for hair wash, keep it luke warm. Too cold water is also not a good idea, since it will not be able to wash hairs properly.
Use shampoo at regular intervals, but if you start feeling dry or etching head skin, cut on the amount and number of uses.
After wash always use some good oil, in small amount, it preserve the moisture. It does not matter if you use Cilinic All Clear, or other some good brand.
So in conclusion Clinic ALL CLEAR is just an ordinary oil for me. It does not do what it claims (I dont know if you start using it in large quantities, but I will not like doing it). Its a decent oil but considering as an antidandruff oil, its not effective and if I have to choose an oil based on fragarence or similar criteria, I prefer using Ultra Doux.
