Gynacs are good but that’s where it ends. Terrible paediatrics, extremely pathetic nursing staff and even billing staff will take you for a ride. My realisation about them being terrible became stronger when I visited other hospitals in the area, viz. Apollo cradle and rainbow. They are way better than Cloudnine in every aspect, and are surprisingly cheaper too even with much higher quality standards.
Hospital visits/stays are extremely difficult as is, while other hospitals in the area have tried to make those as convenient/comfortable for us as possible, Cloudnine did the exact opposite, by leaving me with a scarred experience. NICU and it’s staff being the worst over here. My wife literally had to plead to the nurses to be able to go in to console our 10 day old baby who used to cry at the top of his voice, while the nurses were busy playing candy crush on their phones, paying least attention to his cry. Requesting and subsequently complaining to the senior consultant doctor didn’t help either. I feel terrible for making my kid stay at this hospital for his treatment.
Please avoid this hospital. If you already are stuck with them, one piece of advice would be to audit their bills very carefully for random charges and get them corrected before you pay up. Getting a refund from them is a challenge in itself, and as a testament to that, I’m still waiting to see my refund after almost 6 months now.
