If you ever plan to go to a resort, my suggestion is that you don’t waste your money booking Club Cabana. This place has everything going against it. The day my team (of about 30 people) went to the club, we found 3 more companies present already and the place looked like a railway station. None of the facilities were available and there was a huge wait to get to use any of the facilities. To top it all my team got really hungry and everyone wanted to have lunch - however they don’t serve lunch until 1 PM - the staff are so impolite that if you ask them a question, they acted as if they were doing you a favor. Having waited long enough for the lunch to be set the actual spread was pathetic.
Lunch would be rated 1 on a scale of 10. The bowling alley is an insult to bowling alleys and believe it or not a game is 5 frames and not 10 and its more expensive than a regular game of bowling that you can play in Leela Palace!! Finally high tea is served at 4:30 PM - my team had to get back to work by 5 PM and there was no way we could stay that long, so in the end we had to leave without high tea for which we had actually paid for. In most resorts we have had lunch by 12 Noon and high tea by 3:30 (I should say all the resorts).
In a nutshell the whole experience was a huge waste of money and a unpleasant experience. If teams are planning to go to resorts then I would recommend the following resorts - Prakruti, Angsana, Olde Bnagalore. In the south of Bnagalore you have Anagana and Guhantara which are also pretty good.
STAY AWAY FROM CLUB CABANA IF YOU WANT TO HAVE A GOOD TIME.
